Ground Truth Trekking Pebble Mine seismic studies

For several years, Bretwood Higman, Andrew Mattox, and others have been studying geohazards, especially earthquakes, in the Lake Iliamna region near the Pebble Prospect. This work has been done under the auspicies of Ground Truth Trekking, funded by the Center for Science in Public Participation. In addition to conducting independent field research and reviewing existing scientific studies, gtt has performed an independent review of Pebble Limited Partnership’s seismic hazard assessment, released with their Environmental Baseline Document.
