Red Mountain rocks

The red-brown rocks on this mountain give it its name. The dunite (olivine) they are composed of is actually green, which you can see if you break the rocks open, but they oxidize to brown because of the iron in them. I don't think it's likely anyone is going to change the name to Olive Mountain.
