Octopus (Enteroctopus dofleini or Octopus rubescens)

This one was only as big as my hand. A baby giant pacific octopus? Or a red octopus? Later, we found a tentacle of a larger octopus peeking from a lair in the rocks. April low tide explorations around Seldovia, on Kachemak Bay. Schooner Beach, 2011.
