Nickname: "White Tadpoles"

Scientific name -- possible: Eudistoma ritteri
— Habitat: Rocks, extreme low intertidal. Also adding the one you saw Seldovia fall 2014 on the settling plate Description: Whitish zooids in transparent, gooey tunic. Clear white lines visible – probably the gut of the zooid, making it look tadpole-ish. Also a little dark dot at the surface in many. Zooids do not appear to be in systems. Notes: Thinking a Eudistoma because of the lack of zooid systems. Ritteri is mostly a guess, since it sort of looks like this photo: http://convoluta.ucdavis.edu/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=West_Coast_Tunicates&id=archidistoma_ritteri
