Marked location

An orange marker placed near a creek in the area of the proposed Chuitna Coal Mine.
— Skiing through the 8 square miles of the proposed Chuitna Coal Mine, we saw little evidence of what this place might become. This tiny island of orange markers, flagging tape, and snowshoe tracks was one of the few signs of people in the snowy wilderness. The text reads, "Set trap 5' to the North," referring to a fish trap in a nearby stream.
