Hard rock in Tutka Pass

I'm what is generally called a "soft rock" geologist - studying sedimentary rocks, as well as surficial processes like rivers and glaciers. This rock is definitely hard - literally resistant to the glaciers, so there's a beautiful smooth surface to look at as you hike through the mountains, and definitely outside my area of expertise. I'd say... gabbro? Clearly had some run-ins with tectonics... maybe some serpentinization???
