Disarticulating glacier

A section of Grewingk Glacier about 150 wide has nearly completely separated from the rest of the glacier. When this separation is complete, it will likely either break up into many bergs in a calving event, or simply float away. Given that the ice is 150 feet wide, but likely reaches the bottom over 300 feet down, it is probably not stable, and will rotate and break up when it separates. (Photo taken on July 12th, 2019)
