Suggest corrections

We're always striving to make Alaska's Wild Resource Web as accurate and up-to-date as possible. Please email us with any errors you notice! To make it easier on our end, we'd appreciate if you paste the URL (the web address, typically starting with 'http://...') of the page you were reading into your email, and tell us where in the article you found the error. Also, provide URLs for any online sources you can reference to support your corrections.

Provide content

We're always looking for good, appropriate content to add, especially photographs relevant to the articles. Visit our coal country slideshow for an example of how we would present your photos. For submitting photos, what we need is:

• The largest digital version of the photo file you have. We typically post a large jpg, not a raw photo.
• The location of the photo (decimal degrees latitude and longitude.) Approximate locations are ok, but try to be as precise as possible. If you can locate the photo on a map, you can use Google Earth to tell you the coordinates.
• Text descriptions of the photo… at least a title (a few words) and a short caption (a sentence), and a if possible a long caption (as long as you like). For the long caption, feel free to be creative, but one approach is to try to explain what it was like to take the photo.
• Attribution and copyright information. We offer most of our photos on an attribution / non-commercial license but will consider posting photos under other licenses if requested.

After you submit a photo, we'll get back to you with any suggested changes for your approval before we post it.
