Ground Truth Trekking: Expeditions to explore environmental issues.

Seattle
We're walking to Alaska. Would you like to join us?
We are walking, packrafting, and skiing 4000 miles from our house in the U District to the Aleutian Islands. We will be exploring the major environmental issues that face our coast: salmon, forests, mining, oil, and global warming.

If you're in the Seattle area, come join us for the FREE kick-off event! Everyone is invited to start with us. Walk for a few minutes, a few hours, or a couple days! Leisurely pace: kids and dogs welcome!

When: Saturday June 9, Noon
Where: 4223 8th Ave NE

RSVP preferred (mckittre@gmail.com or 206 695-2164). Give us a guess at how far you want to walk. We will try to help people coordinate car-pooling.
